Jaguars at Titans NFL Betting Odds

The Jacksonville Jaguars begin the 2008 NFL betting regular season at Tennessee to battle Vince Young and the Titans. The Jaguars were two games from the Super Bowl last season but fell to the New England Patriots in the divisional round.

The Jaguars could be poised for another excellent season and could challenge Indianapolis for the top of the AFC South this season.

The Jaguars ranked 17th in passing offense while the Titans ranked 27th in the league according to NFL betting stats. Both defenses were solid as the Titans ranked 5th overall while the Jags were 12th according to NFL betting numbers.

Tennessee made the playoffs last season and actually led the San Diego Chargers in the Wild Card game before losing in the second half. The Titans are led by quarterback Vince Young who is exciting but inconsistent.

Last year in the season opener it was the Titans that rushed for 282 yards in upsetting the Jaguars 13-10 at Jacksonville in NFL betting. The Jaguars won the return match in Week 10 when they won 28-13 at Tennessee.
