The 93rd Indianapolis 500 on Sunday at 1:00pm EST on ABC could be one of the most competitive ones in recent years.
There are eight drivers that have Indy 500 odds of 10-1 or less led by the polesitter Helio Castroneves who is 3-1.
In seven of the last eight years one of three teams (Penske, Ganassi or Andretti) has won in Indy 500 odds.
The Indianapolis 500 has to start with Team Penske. They have won the race 14 times since 1972 and they have two drivers in the top two spots in Castroneves and Ryan Briscoe.

All eyes will be on Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte for Sunday’s 50th running of the Coca Cola 600 at 5:00pm EST on FOX with many drivers listed at 10-1or less in NASCAR odds.
That doesn’t necessarily mean one of those drivers will win but that is where your NASCAR handicapping must start for this weekend's race. Bodog sportsbook has Jimmy Johnson as the favorite in Coca Cola 600 odds at 4/1.
Johnson has won 5 times, second to Darrell Waltrip and Bobby Allison who hold the all-time record with six.
"I do like the 600-mile race from a history standpoint," Johnson said. "And I also like the challenge, to work on the car all night long. Start in the day, go to the night, the longer race, all the aspects that come with it."

NASCAR betting will be exciting and unpredictable this weekend as the series goes to Talladega for Aaron’s 499 odds on Sunday at 1:00pm EST on FOX.
Restrictor plate racing is always close, wreck filled and sometimes tough to figure out. Luck plays a major role in who wins at these types of tracks.
Last fall at Talladega, Tony Stewart was able to avoid the wrecks and win the race. Last spring it was Kyle Busch surviving the wrecks that claimed his brother Kurt, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart to win.
Picking a driver this week in NASCAR odds is a real crapshoot but there are some drivers that seem to have more luck than others in restrictor plate racing.
