Another betting longshot in 2009 Belmont Stakes odds is Mr. Hot Stuff who will enter the post with stakes odds around 18/1.
Early Belmont Stakes odds had Mr. Hot Stuff at 15-1 but the three-year-old thoroughbred has dropped back as to be one of the betting longshots.
Mr. Hot Stuff, a sire of double Breeder’s Cup Classic winner Tinzow, is also the full brother of Colonel John who won the 2008 Santa Anita Derby. Owned by Win Star Farm and trained by Eoin Harty, Mr. Hot Stuff will have Hall of Fame jockey Edgar Prado aboard for 2009 Belmont Stakes odds.
Prado has won in Belmont odds with Sarava in 2002 and Birdstone in 2004.
