As racing fans across the country are preparing for the official start of the season with the Daytona 500 on February 24th; Vegas bookmakers have already posted NASCAR odds to win the Sprint Cup in 2013. Jimmie Johnson has been listed at 17/4 followed by Brad Keselowski at 15/2 with Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch at 17/2. Jimmie finished last season ranked #3 on the leaderboard having 5-wins with 18-top five and 24-top ten finishes. In Johnson's last four races, he won the Goody's Fast Relief 500 and the AAA Texas 500 but finished 32nd in the AdvoCare 500 and 36th at the Ford 400.
The #1 ranked driver last year, Keselowski will start the 2013 season as a 15/2 favorite in NASCAR odds to win the Sprint Cup championship once again. In his 36-starts last year, Keselowski had 5-wins, 13-top five and 23-top ten finishes. Keselowski would like to start Daytona where he left off last season going 4-1 in top ten finishes for his last five races. Denny Hamlin and the Joe Gibbs Racing team are listed as a 17/2 favorite to win the Cup finishing last year ranked #6 with 5-wins, 14-top five and 17-top ten finishes. Hamlin's best result for his last five races was a 2nd place finish at the AdvoCare 500. Rounding out the top betting choices in Sprint Cup odds to win the championship is Kyle Busch who would return 17/2 on a $100 bet. Busch finished last season ranked #13 winning only one race with 13-top five and 20-top ten finishes.
