![]() One of the most interesting teams available in Super Bowl odds for this season are the Houston Texans. The question is whether their health will hold up enough for them to actually live up to the lofty expectations. Arian Foster is one of the game’s best backs if he can stay on the field, and the same can be said of Andre Johnson among wide receivers. Though limited to just 13 games last year, Foster put up an outstanding 1,224 rushing yards. The year before? 1,616. Now with even more eyes on him whenever his club takes the field he’ll be charged with the task of raising his game. According to Super Bowl odds makers in Vegas, the Texans will flirt with being favored on the futures board this year. The Houston Texans have 12/1 odds of winning their first championship in franchise history. Considering their division in 2012, it’s not hard to imagine that they’ll steamroll their way to a second consecutive playoff berth. Whether they can handle the spotlight when they get there will be the true test. Expect Matt Schaub to pull his weight under center, but don’t go looking for an MVP caliber performance. So long as he can get the ball to Johnson, Kevin Walter or even rookie DeVier Posey when necessary, their wunderkind running back will take care of the rest.
