![]() The WSOP* 2011 tournaments are into their fourth week of action at the Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Week 3 bracelet results awarded 11-winners in Events 18 through 29. Let's take a quick look at the WSOP 2011 results from these events which saw many International players earning their first bracelets along with a strong showing from American players. US amateur Foster hays was the first bracelet winner for Week 3 at Event #18 winning the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em over a field of 3,157-players for the $735,400 first place prize. Darren Wood will be taking back a bracelet to the UK as he won the $2.500 Limit Hold'em Six Handed tournament in Event #19 taking home $455,650. There was a huge field of 3,175 poker players for the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em tournament and when it was all over, US pro Jason Sommerville won his first career WSOP bracelet along with the $494,091 prize. Many handicappers are expecting to see Sommerville at a few more final tables as the 24-year-old has won $1,732,770 when playing live tournaments. The $10k Seven Card Stud championship saw 126-players vying for the $331,639 first place prize over three days but it was French poker pro Bertrand "ElkY" Gospellier who won his first career WSOP bracelet in Event # 21 of Week 3. Event #22 drew a field of 1,071-players for the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament that was won by French amateur Elie Payan for the $292,825 first place prize. Californian native John Monnette took down 489-players in the $2,500 Eight Game Mix to win $278,144 and amass $1,225,910 in live tournament winnings. The $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi/Low Split saw 606-players enter Event #24 as US poker pro Chris Vox outlasted the field to win $200,459. The Canadian flag waved proudly as pro Mark Radoja took down a field of 387-players over three days in the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout for a $436,568 pay-day. The Canadians have had strong showings in the larger buy-in tournaments during Week 3 of the WSOP 2011 as pro Daniel Idema won the $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship vs a field of 152-players for the $378,642 prize. The Ukraine was able to cheer in Vegas as 2011 WSOP rookie Oleksii Kovalchuck won his first career bracelet over a field of 1,378 to take home the $689,739 first place prize in the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em Six Handed event (#27). The remain bracelet results for Week 3 saw US pro Andrew Frankenberger and Canadian pro Chris Lee win the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em and the $2,500 10-Game Mix Six Handed tournament respectively. Frankenberger took down a field of 2,500-players for $599,153 first place prize while Lee outlasted 431-players to win his first career WSOP bracelet and $254,954 prize.
