2011 NCAA Bracket Predictions

The first games of the NCAA tournament have begun with North Carolina - Asheville and Clemson moving on to the second round from Tuesday games. Wednesday will feature Texas - San Antonio vs Alabama State at 6:30pm EST and Virginia Commonwealth vs USC at 9:00pm EST from Dayton, Ohio on truTV. None of those teams are listed as favorites in 2011 NCAA bracket predictions to win the national championship though. The top seeds in Vegas odds to win the Final 4 2011; Ohio State, Duke, Kansas and Pittsburgh, will begin action on Thursday and Friday.

Ohio State is the number one seed in the East regional having gone 32-2 on the season, 16-2 in the Big Ten conference and winning seven straight games. Vegas odds to win the Final 4 2011 have the Buckeyes +450 favorites to win the national championship and +120 to win the East region. Ohio State hasn't had much competition this season with their only losses coming at Wisconsin and Purdue, two teams they wouldn't meet in NCAA bracket predictions until the final. Duke will carry the #1 seed in the West region having gone an equally impressive 30-4 on the season, 13-3 in ACC conference play and winning three straight games.

The Blue Devils have gone 4-2 overall in college basketball betting odds for their last six games with their last loss at North Carolina, a team they could face in the Final 4 2011. Duke is listed at +400 to win the championship and +115 to win the West. Kansas is the number one seed in the Southwest region and is expected to go far in many 2011 NCAA bracket predictions. The Jayhawks went 32-2 on the season, 14-2 in the Big 12 and have won eight straight games. Kansas will begin action on Friday vs Boston University and have been listed as +380 in Vegas odds to win the Final 4 2011 and +130 to win the Southwest.

The final number one seed from the Southeast region will be the Pittsburgh Panthers who had a mediocre season going 27-5 straight up and 15-3 in the Big East conference. The Panthers enter Vegas odds to win the Final 4 as betting favorites but are coming off a 74-76 loss to UConn in the Big East title game and fell to Louisville 59-62 on February 27th. Pittsburgh offers decent value at +600 to go all the way in NCAA bracket predictions and +140 to win the Southeast. Be sure to play in the $1,000,000 Madness of March bracket contest, make your predictions and win millions!
