Week 4 - NFL Preseason Odds

In the final match-ups of 2010 NFL preseason predictions, Thursday will feature the New York Jets vs Philadelphia Eagles at 7:30pm EST from Lincoln Financial Field and the Denver Broncos vs Minnesota Vikings at 8:00pm EST from Mall of America Field. New York has gone 1-2 in NFL preseason betting while Philadelphia has had better success going 2-1. Denver has also had a slow start heading into week 4 odds while Brett Fave and Minnesota has gone 2-1. Online sportsbooks have the Eagles -1.5 favorites at home vs the Jets with an over/under total of 34 while the Vikings -4.5 are also favored at home vs the Broncos with an over/under total of 35.5.

New York has been predicted by many sports betting handicappers to win the AFC and Super Bowl but have had a less than stellar performance losing to the New York Giants 16-31 in the 2010 preseason opener before barely winning 9-3 vs the Carolina Panthers only to fall in week 3 to the Washington Redskins 11-16 straight up as -4.5 favorites at home in NFL odds. Philadelphia has faced some stiff competition in the first three weeks of preseason defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-27, losing to the Cincinnati Bengals 9-22 and defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17 as 1.5-point favorites in week 4 odds.

The Denver Broncos are hoping that Thursday's game will help them break the .500 mark with losses to the Cincinnati Bengals 24-33 and Detroit Lions 20-25 in week 1 and 2 before defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 34-17 at home as 2-point underdogs in sports betting odds. Quarterback Kyle Orton has gone 33-49 for 341 yards with 4 touchdowns while receiver Jabar Gaffney has averaged 14.3-yards per catch. The Minnesota Vikings are back on track in their efforts to reach the championship game defeating the Detroit Lions 28-7 in their opener, before losing to the San Francisco 49ers 10-15 in week 2 and then taking down the Seattle Seahawks 24-13 as 5-point favorites at home.
