The famed Saratoga race track in New York will feature one of the biggest Grade 1 races of the summer with the $1 million 2010 Travers Stakes. A total of 11 3-year olds will run in Saratoga betting for the one and one quarter mile event. A Little Warm was the 7-2 opening favorite in horse predictions at online racebooks and will post at position 5 for grainer Anthony Dutrow and jockey John Velazquez. Trappe Shot is the second choice at 4-1 from post position 2. The trainer is Kiaran McLaughlin and the jockey is Alan Garcia.

The third horse betting choices in 2010 Travers Stakes odds at 6-1 are Afleet Express from the 7 position and Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver from the 11 slot. Afleet Express is trained by James Jerkins with jockey Javier Castellano. Super Saver has trainer Todd Pletcher and jockey Calvin Borel. Opening at 8-1 at online racebooks were First Dude from position 4 and Fly Down from slot 8. First Dude is trained by Dale Romans and will be ridden by Ramon Dominguez while Fly Down is trained by Nick Zito with Jose Lezcano getting the mount. Florida Derby winner Ice Box opened at 10-1 in Saratoga betting and will break form position 6 as Julien Leparoux gets the mount for trainer Nick Zito.

Miner’s reserve opened at 12-1 and will have gate position 1 for trainer Nick Zito and jockey David Cohen. Also at 12-1 in horse predictions is Admiral Alex, son of Afleet Alex, from slot 3 for trainer Leon Blusiewicz and jockey Kent Desormeaux. Friend or Foe was at 15-1 for trainer John Kimmel and jockey Rajiv Maragh from post position 9 and longshot Afleet Again opened at 30-1 in 2010 Travers Stakes odds for trainer Robert Reid and jockey Cornelio Velasquez from post number 10. Trappe Shot was the runner up in The Haskell and Miner’s Reserve was runner up in The Jim Dandy.
