2010 Raiders NFL Schedule

The Oakland Raiders are quietly optimistic for improvement and their 2010 NFL schedule gives them a shot to get off to a good start with their opening game at the Tennessee Titans on September 12th. Oakland will then host the St. Louis Rams, a 1-15 team last year, in the September 19th home opener for another winnable game in NFL betting odds. The Raiders will then travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals on September 26th before hosting the Houston Texans on October 3rd. One of the most bitter rivalries will resume on October 10th as Oakland hosts the San Diego Chargers in an AFC West feud that goes back to 1960. Online sportsbooks have the Raiders 70-1 longshots in 2011 Superbowl odds to win the championship, 35-1 to win the AFC conference and have an over/under regular season win total of 6 UNDER (-180).

After playing the Chiefs, that game will be followed by an October 17th match-up at the San Francisco 49ers, who is favored at online sportsbooks in NFL odds to win the NFC West. Oakland will then travel to Denver to face the Broncos on October 24th in another AFC West rivalry match before hosting a rebuilding Seattle Seahawks on Halloween. The Kansas City Chiefs will come calling to Oakland on November 7th to renew one of the greatest classic rivalries of any sport before the Raiders take a bye in week 10 of the NFL schedule.

Oakland resumes their 2010 NFL schedule on November 21st with a game at AFC contenders the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Miami Dolphins will visit Oakland on November 28th and then there will be a rematch with the Chargers at San Diego on December 5th. The final fourth of the Raiders schedule starts with a December 12th match-up at the Jacksonville Jaguars followed by a December 19th AFC West rematch with Denver. AFC champion Indianapolis visits Oakland on December 26th before the 2010 Raiders NFL schedule finale at Kansas City on January 2nd.
