![]() The Mike Shanahan era for the Washington Redskins will begin their 2010 NFL schedule with a September 12th home opener against their arch rival Dallas Cowboys as the new coach will get an immediate taste of NFC East Division football as it will also be the NBC Sunday Night Football opener. The Houston Texans will follow with a visit on September 19th and then Washington will play at St. Louis against the woeful Rams who were 1-15 in NFL betting odds last year on September 26th and then resume NFC East action at the Philadelphia Eagles on October 3rd. Online sportsbooks have the Redskins 28-1 longshots in 2011 Super Bowl predictions to win the championship, 13-1 in odds to win the NFC conference and have an over/under regular season win total of 7.5 UNDER (-130). The Green Bay Packers, one of the favorites in NFL odds at online sportsbooks to win the NFC, will visit Washington on October 10th with the AFC champion Indianapolis Colts paying a visit the next week on October 17th in another Sunday Night affair. The Chicago Bears will host the Redskins on October 24th with the Detroit Lions entertaining Washington on Halloween before a week 9 bye. The Redskins will begin the second half of the 2010 NFL schedule at home against the Philadelphia Eagles on November 15th for a Monday Night Football telecast. The Tennessee Titans will visit Washington on November 21st and then Minnesota will visit the nation’s capital on November 28th as another big NFC favorite in Super Bowl odds at online sportsbooks. Washington will have their first NFC East match-up with the Giants at New York on December 5th. A weak Tampa Bay Buccaneers team will visit on December 12th before the rematch with the Cowboys at Dallas on December 19th. Washington will play their final road game on December 26th at the Jacksonville Jaguars before the finale of the 2010 NFL schedule at home against the Giants on January 2nd in a NFC East Division rematch. |
