Although there will be some familiar faces on the sidelines for the 2010 Hall of Fame game, some of the players will be wearing the uniforms of their former opponents. Terrel Owens, Pacman Jones and Tank Johnson have shed their blue stars of Dallas and will be wearing the orange and black of Cincinnati for Sunday's game in Canton. Although NFL odds makers the starting lineup isn't expected to play that long, many fans are excited to see the tandem of Carson Palmer and Owens in action. "I'm a playmaker," Owens said about playing with Cincinnati. "The coaches know what I'm capable of once the ball is in my hands. They're going to get all of Terrell on the field." Another player looking to make his mark this season for his new team will be Pacman Jones, who didn't play last season due to numerous off-field situations and since none of the 32 NFL teams were willing to sign him. The Bengals are a team known for giving second chances and so Jones will face his former team in the 2010 Hall of Fame game on Sunday. "I have a lot of friends on the Cowboys. I talk to those guys all the time. It was no love lost when I left there. People have to make business decisions, and it is what it is. I'm happy to be a Bengal." |
