It would be hard to imagine a better way to start the 2010 NFL schedule than with an old fashioned shootout between long time NFC East rivals the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins and that is exactly what NFL betting will offer on September 12th for NBC Sunday Night Football in Mike Shanahan’s home debut as Redskin coach. Dallas’ home opener is September 19th against the Chicago Bears with a trip to Houston on September 26th for a match-up with the Texans. Dallas has an early week 4 bye on the schedule before hosting Tennessee on September 10th. Online sportsbooks have the Cowboys 10-1 favorites in 2011 Super Bowl odds with a regular season win total of 10 OVER (-125).
Dallas will seek playoff revenge for last year in a rematch at Minnesota against the Vikings on October 17th and then host their NFC East rival New York Giants in NFL odds for Monday Night Football October 25th. The Halloween NFL schedule will bring the Jacksonville Jaguars to Cowboys Stadium before another classic NFC Sunday Night showdown at Green Bay vs the Packers on November 7th in what will be one of the marquee games at online sportsbooks for 2010. Dallas will begin the second half of the schedule on November 14th at New York with a rematch against the Giants.
The Cowboys will host the Detroit Lions on November 21st and then host the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving Day in another huge sportsbook match-up. Dallas will continue the toughest portion of their 2010 NFL schedule with a game at the AFC champion Indianapolis Colts on December 5th. The schedule’s stretch run begins on December 12th with a Sunday Night game against Philadelphia, in a playoff rematch from last year. Washington will visit Cowboys Stadium on December 19th. Dallas will end regular season NFL schedule with road games vs the Arizona Cardinals on Christmas Night and at the Philadelphia Eagles on January 2nd.
