College football fans recall that the Florida State Seminoles and Miami Hurricanes used to play annually for a virtual National Championship not all that long ago as two of the most dominant programs of the 1980’s and 90’s. It looks as if those days are returning as the two hated rivals are the co-favorites in college football predictions to win the 2010 ACC Conference championship. Online sportsbooks opened with Miami as a +240 choice to win the ACC with Florida State at +275. Other top contenders in 2010 ACC conference odds include Virginia Tech at +300, North Carolina at +475, Clemson at +500, Boston College at +800 and defending champ Georgia Tech at +900. Miami plays in the tough Coastal Division with Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Georgia Tech while the Seminoles play in the Atlantic Division with BC and defending division champion Clemson. It is possible that the Canes could meet the Noles twice in college football odds as they will play at Miami on October 9th and could also meet in a rematch in the ACC Championship Game. Miami is considered to be the most talented team in the league heading into college football predictions for this season but the question remains whether they can finally put it all together in Randy Shannon’s 4th year as coach. Bet Miami +240 as a favorite in 2010 ACC conference odds to win the championship with up to 155% in total bonuses. Virginia Tech may prove to be a good college football betting value as the most consistent contender in the league and with their superb special teams. Their problem is a loss of talented and experienced players. North Carolina has the best defense in the conference but must develop an offense that can compliment it. The Jimbo Fisher era begins at Florida State and the new head coach has brought considerable optimism and enthusiasm to a program that had grown stale. Wake Forest is always a dangerous longshot in college football predictions as coach Jim Grobe is able to continually have this program overachieve. They were the ACC champion in 2006 and ended a 3-season bowl streak last year and are listed at +3000 at online sportsbooks. Bet Florida State +275 as favorites in 2010 ACC Conference odds with up to a 60% deposit bonus. 2010 ACC ConferenceGeorgia Tech | Miami Florida | Florida State | Clemson | North Carolina | Virginia Tech | Boston College
