The 2010 Brickyard 400 betting odds will take place from Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday at 1:00pm EST and can be seen on ESPN with Juan Pablo Montoya taking off from the pole. Montoya +250 may take the lead in the first lap and is a favorite to win in Brickyard 400 odds at online sportsbooks but Jimmie Johnson +180 is the one expected to take the checkered flag in Indianapolis. Both NASCAR betting favorites averaged a little more than 182mph in practice sessions on Friday but Montoya's Chevrolet was just a little faster. "We came here and [tire] tested, and when we got off the truck, it was good; put it in the truck, it was good -- brought it here, it was good. So I've just got to make sure to do everything right [Sunday] and see what happens," said Montoya on Saturday. Mark Martin and Jamie McMurray turned in averages of around 181mph to earn the Row 2 pole positions. Sportsbooks have Martin +1800 and McMurray +2500 longshots in Brickyard 400 odds. Although Martin is somewhat of a longshot, he might make for an interesting choice in odds to win the 2010 Brickyard 400 since he was the 27th car to run in qualifying. Despite having to run after the track had been heated which slows cars down due to traction, Martin was still able to turn in a best lap time of 181.803 mph which was just hundredths off from the pole. Bet Juan Pablo Montoya +250 as a favorite in 2010 Brickyard 400 betting odds for Sunday's race at Indianapolis with up to a $250 bonus. Rounding out the top 10 pole positions for the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis will be; Ryan Newman and Clint Bowyer in Row 3, Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick and Jeff Burton. Brickyard 400 odds have Newman +3500, Bowyer +1200, Biffle +2500, Gordon +1200, Harvick +1200 and Burton +1500. Montoya will be going for a Triple Crown of sorts with wins at the Indianapolis 500, Daytona 500 and possibly the 2010 Brickyard 400 all in the same season. A pit-road penalty caused Montoya to fall down to 11th after leading 116 of 160 laps last year. “It’s too bad we didn’t take the trophy home (in 2009), but in my mind we had the fastest car and we had the pace to win the race,” Montoya said this week. Bet Mark Martin +1800 as a favorite in Brickyard 400 betting for Sunday's race on ESPN with up to a $250 bonus. Sportsbook.com has Juan Pablo Montoya +250 as a favorite in 2010 Brickyard 400 odds for Sunday's race. |
