Stanley Cup Odds - Game 6

The 2010 Stanley Cup finals continue tonight as the Chicago Blackhawks are on the road to play the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 6 at 8:00pm EST and can be seen on NBC television. Stanley Cup odds have the Blackhawks -110 betting favorites vs Flyers while online sportsbooks have the over/under total sitting at 5.5 OVER -135. Chicago evened up the series at 2-2 with a 7-4 victory at home last Sunday. The Blackhawks won as -180 betting favorites vs the Flyers while the over/under total sailed OVER the 5.5 posted at sportsbooks.

The Blackhawks exploded in the first period with three goals from Brent Seabrook, Dave Bolland and Kris Versteeg. Dustin Byfuglien, who had eight goals in the playoffs but none in the finals, finally broke his slump and netted a goal in the second period and scored in the third when Philadelphia pulled the goalie. "Getting down there two games in their building, we had to come back with some fire and get on them and show them we weren't going to quit," Byfuglien said after the win. "Right from the get-go we moved our feet and were physical."

The Flyers found the net in the second period with goals from Scott Hartnell and Kimmo Timonen while James van Riemsdyk and Simon Gagne added points in the third. Chicago answered each time the Flyers scored and are now in a position to win the 2010 Stanley Cup for the first time since 1961. "We were slow. We turned a lot of pucks over. Where we had all our success in this series was not turning the pucks over, getting the puck in deep," Flyers captain Mike Richards said after the loss.
