Baylor is the third seed in this region and they have a lot of talent but very little experience. There is no question the Bears can reach the Sweet Sixteen and beyond. They were a national title contender until Robbie Hummel got hurt. Now they may not make it out of the first round. A better team and one that could upset this entire region is Texas A&M. They play defense and can rebound. If they can hit some outside shots they can win this region as the number five seed. Richmond has some talent but probably not enough to win the South region as the #7 seed. California and Louisville are too inconsistent to win this region. St. Mary’s also has some talent but probably not enough to win four games in a row. Old Dominion, Utah State, Siena, Sam Houston, Robert Morris and Arkansas Pine Bluff are big longshots.
