The Miami Heat are favorites at home in NBA betting picks and odds over the San Antonio Spurs for Tuesday's game.

The San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat will both be gunning for a victory on Tuesday night at 7:30pm EST when they meet at the AmericanAirlines Arena in a game that can be seen on Sun Sports and NBA-TV. NBA betting picks have the Heat listed as 1.5-point betting favorites against the Spurs while the game's total is sitting at 189.5. Six players reached double figures as the Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 118-88 on Saturday. The Spurs covered the 12-point spread in NBA odds while the combined score made it OVER the posted total of 196 at online sportsbooks.

Matt Bonner led the way with 21 points while George Hill had a double-double with 14 points and 11 assists to win the Spurs third straight game and sixteenth straight over the Clippers. Hill also became temporary head coach as Gregg Popovich handed off the clipboard in the fourth quarter. "Sometimes it's good to let the players do some of the coaching," Popovich said after the game. "It makes them think a little bit and really give them confidence in what we're doing as a group." Heading into tonight's match-up, the Spurs are 39-25 straight up on the season in NBA betting picks, 33-30-1 against the spread as underdogs but only 2-8 after playing the Clippers.

The Heat defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 104-91 as a 6.5-point favorite in NBA betting picks on Sunday. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total of 191.5 at online sportsbooks. Dwyane Wade scored a game-high 38 points for Miami and James Jones added 14 points to lift the Heat to their third straight win. "I just wanted to come out and attack against a team you don't want to play around with, and set the tone for my guys," Wade said after the game. "I'm glad I could do that, and I'm glad they could feed off it."

Heading into tonight's game on NBA-TV, the Heat are 35-32 straight up on the season, 35-31-1 against the spread as favorites in NBA picks and 5-5 after playing the 76ers. Miami is 5-0 against the spread as favorites in their last 5 games at home and also 5-0 straight up in their last 5 games at home. San Antonio is 5-0 against the spread as underdogs in NBA betting picks for their last 5 games and 7-1 straight up in their last 8 games. The total has gone UNDER in 12 of San Antonio's last 13 games when playing on the road against Miami. Vegas odds at the Hilton sportsbook have the Miami Heat -1.5 favorites against the San Antonio Spurs with a total of 189.5.
