The Dallas Mavericks are favorites at home in NBA odds and betting over the New York Knicks for Saturday's game.

The fans at the American Airlines Center will be treated to a game between the New York Knicks and the Dallas Mavericks when they take their seats on Saturday night at 8:30pm EST in a game that can be seen on MSG and FOX SW television. NBA odds have the Mavericks listed as 10.5-point betting favorites against the Knicks while the game's total is sitting at 210. The Knicks were defeated 119-112 by the Memphis Grizzlies last time out as 7-point underdogs in NBA betting odds. That game's combined score sailed OVER the posted total of 213 at online sportsbooks.

Bill Walker netted 21 points with four rebounds and four assists for the Knicks. New York tried to fight back in the fourth quarter with 39 points but it wasn't enough after only scoring 18 points in the second quarter. Walker netted 12 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter as Toney Douglas added 19 and David Lee finished with 17 points but it wasn't enough as the Knicks lost their second straight game. "The game was getting out of hand. We tried to make any type of push we could, and play hard to try and cut it in half," Walker said after the game. "We ended up making it a game."

The Mavericks defeated the New Jersey Nets 96-87 as an 11-point favorite in NBA odds on Wednesday. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total of 204 at online sportsbooks. Jason Kidd deposited 20 points and had nine assists for Dallas while Caron Butler added 18 points to lift Dallas to their thirteenth straight win. "Dirk didn't play that well, but he's not always going to have 20 or 30 points," Kidd said after the game. "So everybody stepped up. When I get the ball, I know what to do with it."

Heading into tonight's game, Dallas is 45-21 straight up, 28-37-1 against the spread as favorites in NBA odds and 6-4 after playing the Nets. The Knicks are 22-43 straight up on the season, 30-35 against the spread in NBA odds and 2-8 after playing Memphis. Dallas is 5-0 straight up in their last 5 games when playing at home against New York and 5-0 straight up in their last 5 games at home. The Knicks are 4-9 against the spread as NBA betting favorites in their last 13 games when playing on the road against the Mavericks. Vegas odds at the Hilton sportsbook have the Dallas Mavericks -10.5 favorites against the New York Knicks with a total of 210.
