The Atlanta Hawks are favorites in NBA betting odds at home against the Detroit Pistons for Saturday's game.

The fans at Philips Arena will be treated to a game between the Detroit Pistons and the Atlanta Hawks when they take their seats on Saturday night at 7:00pm EST in a game that can be seen on SportSouth. NBA betting odds have the Hawks listed as 11.5-point favorites against the Pistons with the game total sitting at 199.5. The Pistons jumped ahead for good in the second quarter as they went on to defeat the Washington Wizards 101-87 on Friday. The Pistons covered the 6-point spread in NBA odds while the 188 points went UNDER the posted total of 191.5.

Richard Hamilton, Jonas Jerebko, and Tayshaun Prince had 18 points apiece in the win for the Pistons. Detroit poured in 27 points in the first quarter and 29 points in the second quarter behind a career best 20 assists from Andrew Bynum. "At the end of the first quarter, I thought I had a chance to get Kevin Porter's [team] record of 25, but I don't think the coach and I had the same mindset," Bynum said after the game. Heading into tonight's match-up, the Pistons are 23-42 straight up on the season, 28-34-3 against the spread as underdogs in NBA betting odds and 8-2 after playing the Wizards.

Jamal Crawford netted 29 points as the Hawks also grabbed a hard-fought 105-99 win over the Washington Wizards on Thursday. The Hawks failed to cover the 7-point spread in NBA betting odds while the 204 points made it OVER the posted total of 193 at online sportsbooks. Joe Johnson and Al Horford tossed in 18 points apiece in the win. "You get a chance to see what teams are doing on coverage and how you can kind of pick them apart and dissect them," said Crawford after the game. "Then I can come in and try to help do that."

Heading into tonight's game, the Hawks are 41-23 straight up on the season, 36-28 against the spread as favorites and 7-3 after playing Washington. Atlanta is 5-1 against the spread in NBA odds for their last 6 games when playing at home against Detroit and 9-2 straight up in their last 11 games at home. The Pistons are 13-5 straight up in their last 18 games when playing the Hawks. The NBA betting total has gone OVER in 5 of Detroit's last 7 games when playing on the road against Atlanta. Vegas sports odds at Caesars sportsbook have the Atlanta Hawks -12 favorites at home against the Detroit Pistons with a total of 199.5.
