Duke is betting favorites in college basketball odds against Virginia for Friday's game on ESPN2.

The Virginia Cavaliers and the Duke Blue Devils will both be gunning for a victory on Friday afternoon at 12:00pm EST when they meet at the Greensboro Coliseum in a game that can be seen on ESPN2. College basketball odds have the Blue Devils listed as 17-point betting favorites against the Cavaliers while the game's total is sitting at 128.5. Sammy Zeglinski dropped a season high 21 points to lead Virginia past Boston College 68-62 in the first round of the ACC Tournament at Greensboro Coliseum on Thursday. Virginia cashed as 5-point college basketball betting underdogs while the teams played OVER the 121-point total set by online sportsbooks.

Mike Scott added 11 points and three rebounds to lift Virginia to their first win in over a month after losing their past nine games and their first ACC tournament win in the past four years. "This past week, something clicked," said Zeglinski after the game. "We said, ‘All right, we're going to give everything we've got." Heading into this afternoon match-up on ESPN2, the Cavaliers are 15-15 straight up on the season, 10-14-1 against the spread as underdogs in college basketball odds and 2-4 after playing Boston College.

Duke covered the 14.5-point spread, while the 132 points went UNDER the posted total of 146.5. Kyle Singler led Duke with a game-high 25 points, while Jon Scheyer and Nolan Smith had 20 apiece in the win to clinch the top sport in the ACC tournament. "You never go into a game thinking you're going to blow somebody out by 30," Scheyer said after the game. "But once we get a lead like that, we really want to have a killer instinct and put them away. I thought we never let off the gas." Heading into today's game on ESPN2, the Blue Devils are 26-5 straight up on the season, 18-11-1 against the spread as favorites in college basketball odds and 7-3 after playing North Carolina.

Duke is 4-1 against the spread in their last 5 games when playing Virginia and 13-1 straight up in their last 14 games when playing the Cavaliers. Virginia is 1-4-1 against the spread as underdogs in college basketball odds for their last 6 games when playing Duke and 1-9 straight up in their last 10 games. The total has gone UNDER in 5 of the Blue Devils last 5 games when playing Virginia and UNDER in 8 of the Cavaliers last 12 games. Vegas sports odds at Ceasars sportsbook have the Duke Blue Devils -16.5 favorites against the Virginia Cavaliers with a total of 128.5.
