UFC 110 Betting Odds and Fight Card

UFC 110 betting odds on Saturday from Australia has a slightly smaller fight card than normal with just 9 fights but the good news is that it could be a lot more exciting than recent UFC betting events. The headliner is a bout between Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira and Cain Velasquez. Sports betting handicappers say that this fight has the potential to be a great one as Nogueira has the experience while Velasquez has the talent. This fight is a pick in UFC odds at online sportsbooks since Velasquez has yet to lose in the UFC and appears to be a star on the rise in the heavyweight division.

Velasquez has the edge in age, wrestling and conditioning. Nogueira is a former champion and he has excellent jiu-jitsu skills. He has the edge in the stand-up game and the edge in experience. If the fight stays upright then Nogueira should win but if it goes to the ground Velasquez has the edge. Another interesting fight on the UFC 110 fight card has Joe “Daddy” Stevenson -250 going up against George Sotiropoulos +190. This could be a very exciting bout in UFC betting odds even though Stevenson is the favorite at online sportsbooks.

This is very similar in some respects to the feature fight as Stevenson has the experience edge while the talent edge goes to Sotiropoulos. Both fighters have solid wrestling backgrounds while Sotiropoulos is the better submission expert. Another great bout on the fight card should be the one between Michael "The Count" Bisping +135 and Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva -165. Bisping was on his way to a title shot before losing to Dan Henderson. Silva has not done well in UFC predictions as of late and badly needs a win. This fight will be exciting as both fighters love to go right at it and striking should be at a premium. A light heavyweight battle between Keith "The Dean of Mean" Jardine +140 and Ryan "Darth" Bader -170 is also on the main fight card.

Bader is looking at being a contender in this division while Jardine needs this win just to stay in the UFC. Bader has the edge in wrestling and the striking advantage and that is why he is a -165 favorite in UFC 110 betting odds. The other bout on the main fight card has Australian Anthony “The Hippo” Perosh filling in for a sick Ben Rothwell against Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic. With only two days to prepare it is a tough task for Perosh but he does have the home crowd edge. For Perosh to win in UFC 110 betting odds he must get the fight to the ground. The preliminary card has four fights on the card as the one between Elvis Sinosic and Chris Haeman was cancelled. It will be Stephan Bonnar +160 vs. Krzysztof Soszysnski -200, C.B. Dollaway +170 vs. Goran Reljic -210, Chris Lytle -155 vs. Brian Foster +125 and James Te-Huna -165 vs. Igor Pokrajac +135.
