The San Antonio Spurs are favored at home in NBA lines and odds over the Portland Trail Blazers for Thursday's game on TNT.

The San Antonio Spurs and the Portland Trail Blazers will both be trying to pick up a win in NBA lines on Thursday night at 10:30pm EST when they battle at Rose Garden in a game that can be seen on TNT. The Spurs were outscored in the fourth quarter on Wednesday but managed to come away with a 115-113 win over the Sacramento Kings. The Spurs failed to cover the 4.5-point spread in NBA odds while the 228-points sailed OVER the posted total of 200 at online sportsbooks. Online sportsbooks have the Spurs -2 at home in against the Trail Blazers with a total of 194.

Even though the Kings scored 30 fourth quarter points, it wasn't enough to stop George Hill who led the Spurs with 23-points, four rebounds and nine assists filling in for the injured Tony Parker. Tim Duncan also showed why he is an All-Star with 22-points and 13 rebounds in the win but gave most of the credit for the win to Hill. "He has really developed this year and come on so quickly," Duncan said after the game. "He's a real threat for us and is one of our best perimeter defenders. We expect a lot from him now."

The Trail Blazers were defeated 118-105 by the Utah Jazz last time out as 7.5-point underdogs in NBA odds. The game's combined score sailed OVER the posted total of 195.5 at online sportsbooks. Portland could only muster 53 total points in the second half behind LaMarcus Aldridge who had 27-points with 12 rebounds for a double-double in the loss. It was the eighth straight game for the Trail Blazers without their leading scorer Brandon Roy who is still out with injured right hamstring.

Heading into this NBA match-up, the Trail Blazers are 29-22 straight up for the season and 28-22-1 against the spread as an underdog in NBA lines while the Spurs have gone 28-19 straight up on the season and 23-23-1 against the spread. Portland is 5-0 against the spread in their last 5 games when playing at home against San Antonio while San Antonio is 19-6 straight up in their last 25 games when playing against Portland. Vegas odds at Caesars sportsbook have the San Antonio Spurs -1.5 favorites in NBA odds at home against the Portland Trail Blazers with a total of 194.
