In our second edition of 2010 Super Bowl props bets, Vegas sports odds will focus on the plethora of team odds available to bet for either the Indianapolis Colts or New Orleans Saints. In our first Super Bowl XLIV prop preview, we focused on odds for the MVP, the coin toss and alternate point-spreads. Now we will share the available 2010 Super Bowl prop bets and team odds for results such as which team will have the most penalty yards, kickoff returns, sacks and interceptions for Sunday's game with a start time of 6:00pm EST. On offense, Indianapolis was called for 74 penalties that resulted in 546 total yards for the 2009 regular season while the Saints were called on 89 penalties for 787 total yards. The defense for the Colts committed 92 penalties during the regular season which resulted in 724 total yards while the Saints did slightly better committing 86 penalties for 717 total yards. Online sportsbooks have the Saints slightly favored in 2010 Super Bowl prop bets for the most penalty yards in the big game. Bet the Saints -165 as favorites in Super Bowl odds for the team that is predicted to have the most penalty yards in Super Bowl XLIV or bet the Colts +135 as underdogs. Online sportsbooks are predicting that there will be a 4th down conversion with Yes -200 and No +160 but are not expecting a 2-point conversion with Yes +250 as an underdog in Super Bowl prop bets while the No is favored at -325. The Colts had 55 kickoff returns during the regular season for a total of 1,219-yards with one touchdown. The Saints did slightly better heading into Super Bowl odds with 57 kickoff returns for 1,393-yards and one touchdown. 2010 Super Bowl prop bets for the team to have the longest kickoff return, favors the Saints -150 while the Colts are underdogs at +120. New Orleans had 35 sacks for the 2009 NFL regular season while Indianapolis had one less with 34 in team odds. The Saints allowed opponents to take down the quarterback a total of 20 times while the Colts defense has really stepped up this year only allowing 13 sacks. Online sportsbooks are predicting that both defenses will not allowing many sacks. 2010 Super Bowl prop bets for the most sacks in the game is set at 3.5 with the OVER paying +210 and the UNDER -270. The Colts defense had 16 interceptions during the regular season for 167-yards while the Saints blew away their opponents with 26 interceptions for 652-yards. Online sportsbooks are predicting in NFL odds that neither team will have much success intercepting Peyton Manning or Drew Brees as 2010 Super Bowl prop bets for the number of total pass interceptions by both teams is 2.5 with the OVER +160 and the UNDER -200.
