2010 Pro Bowl Game Schedule and Rosters

2010 Pro Bowl schedule and rosters for the NFC and AFC.

Well… the 2010 Pro Bowl game will not be held in Hawaii, will not be after the Super Bowl and will not have any players from the Colts or the Saints. Sounds like fun doesn’t it? Despite that many fans and players are not happy with the new schedule; NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is quite pleased with his decision. “Here’s where I like it: I think you should stop or end your season when you reach the pinnacle. The pinnacle is the Super Bowl. I think it’s anticlimactic when you come back with the Pro Bowl the week after the Super Bowl.”

The 2010 Pro Bowl game is scheduled to start at 7:30pm EST from Miami, Florida and will be shown on ESPN. The game has been sold-out but will not have such superstars as Peyton Manning or Drew Bress behind center. There are still plenty of exciting players on the roster scheduled to start for the 2010 Pro Bowl game including running backs Chris Johnson (AFC) and Adrian Peterson (NFC), wide receivers Chad Ochocinco (AFC) and Miles Austin (NFC) and cornerbacks Darelle Revis (AFC) and Asante Samuel (NFC). Bet the NFC -3 as favorites in the 2010 Pro Bowl game against the AFC with a 10% bonus and 110% poker instant bonus.

One player that was scheduled to start but will be missing from the NFC roster is Minnesota Vikings offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie who was dismissed from the team for missing four out of five practices and attending only one of the team meetings. McKinnie sent a text message to the Minneapolis Star Tribune on Saturday saying that his removal from the roster is due to injuries but being from Miami, I have a feeling that Club Space or Opium Gardens might have played a factor… not everyone can handle the party life that South Beach provides. Bet the AFC +3 as underdogs in the 2010 Pro Bowl game against the NFC which is schedule to start at 7:30pm EST on ESPN.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis also will be missing from the NFC roster with a knee injury and in his place will be Carolina Panthers Jon Beason who will join four of his teammates in the 2010 Pro Bowl game including Ryan Kalil, Julius Peppers and DeAngelo Williams. The head coach on the NFC roster will be Norv Turner from the San Diego Chargers and the AFC roster has Wade Phillips from the Dallas Cowboys. Although this year’s Pro Bowl will not have the excitement of being the last game on the NFL schedule, nor will it have any hula dancers or volcanoes, the game should be fun for the fans with plenty of scoring since the betting total at most online sportsbooks is at 58. Vegas sports odds at Caesars sportsbook have the NFC -2.5 favorites for the 2010 Pro Bowl game against the AFC with a betting total of 57.
