![]() NFC Championship odds are very wide open with all four remaining teams listed at less than 7-1. The New Orleans Saints +130 are the favorites in NFL playoffs predictions at online sportsbooks to win the NFC but Dallas +260 and Minnesota +250 are right behind them. Even Arizona +700 is not that big a longshot in NFL odds. NFC Championship odds are definitely more competitive than the AFC Championship. The AFC is dominated by Indianapolis and San Diego but in the NFC, all four teams are really given a chance. The Saints were unbeaten for a long while this season and they have the top-ranked offense in the league. They also have home field advantage. There are a couple of red flags though with New Orleans in NFL playoffs predictions as they did not play well down the stretch, losing their last three games. Minnesota was right with New Orleans for much of the regular season but they also slipped down the stretch before winning their finale against the Giants. Minnesota was unbeaten at home this season in NFL odds but they face Dallas on Sunday and the Cowboys are playing extremely well. In fact, the football odds on the game between the Cowboys and Vikings are the lowest of any of the four games this weekend. The Vikings have future Hall of Fame players Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson and they have a stout defense that may be able to stop the Cowboys. Minnesota also has a huge home field edge and that might be enough for them to get to the NFC Championship. Dallas is getting the most attention in NFC Championship odds. The Cowboys got the monkey off their back by beating Philadelphia last week in the NFL playoffs and many people believe Dallas can go all the way. Winning at Minnesota will not be easy though. Arizona is the longshot in NFC Championship odds. They should not be discounted though. They are the defending NFC champs, have a great quarterback in Kurt Warner and they proved last season they can go on the road and win to reach the Super Bowl in NFL playoff predictions. They have an explosive offense that put up 51 points last week against Green Bay and they are very capable of trading points with New Orleans. |
