![]() Red-hot Arsenal hosts Everton on Saturday in Premier League odds in the debut of MLS star Landon Donovan wearing the blue. The Gunners are unbeaten in their last six Premier League betting games including five wins. Everton also comes into soccer odds playing well as they are unbeaten in their last four league contests. Arsenal is laying 1 (-145) goals at online sportsbooks with a total of 2.5 OVER -125. The three-way football betting line has Arsenal -250, Everton +750 and the Draw would pay out +325. Arsenal is very much in the title hunt as they trail Chelsea by just four points and have a game in hand. "We are a team who have grown up together, we want to achieve things. We haven't won anything yet together and that makes us hungry for success." Manager Arsene Wenger said. Arsenal is heavily favored in Premier League odds against Everton even though they will not have captain Cesc Fabregas for this match. Earlier this season Arsenal routed Everton by a score of 6-1 so it is easy to see why they are favored in soccer betting odds. It also doesn’t help Everton’s cause that they have not won at Arsenal in the last 14 tries. Everton got Captain Phil Neville back in their last match and now they have Landon Donovan on loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy of the MLS. Donovan may not start but he could play in Premier League odds on Saturday. Everton can definitely use Donovan since they are missing a number of players including Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Joseph Yobo who are playing for Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations. Donovan is on loan from the Galaxy for the next few months. "It is not just about coming in for a few months and having a kick-about," Donovan said. "This is the middle of the season, they have a few injuries and need immediate help so I have to be ready and that helped me prepare. The reality is I'm here to do a job and help the team win. I'm not just here to have fun for a few months. What I'm good at is creating chances and that is what I'll try to do here." Donovan is a key player for the United States in the 2010 World Cup and he will be happy to play with goalkeeper Tim Howard again. Two of the last three meetings between Everton and Arsenal have gone over the total. |
