Premier League betting odds on Monday have the Bolton Wanderers hosting Wigan Athletic in a match that can be seen on ESPN2 at 3:00pm EST. There could be some goals scored in this match considering neither team can play defense. Wigan has simply been terrible defensively, allowing 38 goals this season. Bolton is not much better as they are the only team in the league that doesn’t have a clean sheet this season. Wigan is a -1/2 (+110) goal favorite in soccer betting odds for this match while Bolton is +1/2 (-130). The total on the match is 2.5-goals UNDER -120. The three-way soccer betting money line has Wigan +110, Bolton +255 and the Draw +220.
Bolton had a team meeting before last week’s game against Manchester City and it seemed to help. They played well in that match and then went out and beat West Ham in Premier League betting odds. Bolton really doesn’t want to fall behind in this match since they have yet to win a game when trailing. Wigan is unbeaten in the last three matches against Bolton with two wins and a draw. Bolton didn’t even score a goal in any of the three matches. That should not be the case in this match since Wigan is allowing more than two goals per match. Wigan can score though as they have scored at least one goal in 10 of their last 11 games.
When Hugo Rodallega scores, the Lactics win, as every game in which he has scored has been a victory. Rodallega leads Wigan with six goals this season while Bolton is led by Klasnic and Cahill. Wigan will be without midfielder Mohamed Diame for this match while Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba is suspended and Gavin McCann is out with an ankle injury. Bolton has let in 12 goals in the Premier League for the last five games against other teams from the north-west. Chris Kirkland has conceded a goal every 41.6 minutes this season, the worst rate in the league. Bolton has kept only one clean sheet in their last 20 away league matches. Wigan has scored one goal in six of their last seven meetings with Bolton in Premier League odds.
