Some sports bettors and fans think the saga won’t really have a happy ending until the Saints bring home the Lombardi Trophy. The Cowboys lost to the San Diego Chargers 20-17 in week 14. Dallas is 8-5 straight up, 6-7 against the spread as underdogs in NFL predictions and 6-4 when playing on turf. The Cowboys defense has been looking pretty good, giving up just 17.9 points per game and only about 100 yards on the ground. But they will really be tested when they’re up against a New Orleans team that averages 35.8 points a game.

New Orleans has covered five in a row against Dallas, and this might be the game NFL handicappers talk about if Coach Wade Phillips gets fired at the end of the season. Vegas odds at Caesars sportsbook have the New Orleans Saints -7 favorites against the Dallas Cowboys with a total of 43.
