NFL Predictions and Odds - Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts

Written by Matt Franklin

Chris Johnson and the Tennessee Titans are road underdogs against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

The fans at Lucas Oil Stadium will be treated to a game between the Tennessee Titans and the Indianapolis Colts when they take their seats on Sunday at 1:00pm EST in a game that can be seen on CBS. NFL predictions currently have the Colts listed as 7-point favorites in NFL odds over the Titans while the game's betting total is sitting at 47 at online sportsbooks. The Titans defeated Arizona 20-17 as a 3.5-point favorite in NFL predictions during week 12 and the combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total of 44.5.

Titans quarterback Vince Young threw 27-43 for 387 yards including the game winning touchdown for Tennessee while Chris Johnson rushed 18 times for 154 yards with a TD including an 85-yard scamper for a touchdown in the third quarter. Johnson set an NFL record running for at least 125-yards in his sixth straight game. Heading into Sunday's match-up with the Colts, Tennessee is 5-6 straight up, 5-6 against the spread as a favorite in NFL odds and 6-4 when playing on turf. Bet the Titans +7 as road underdogs in NFL predictions against the Titans.

The Colts defeated Houston 35-27 as a 4-point favorite at online sportsbooks in NFL predictions for week 12. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under betting total of 48. Peyton Manning passed for 244 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions for Indianapolis and Dallas Clark had nine catches for 63 yards and a TD. The Indianapolis Colts are now AFC South Champions after the Jaguars lost to the 49ers. The Colts were without defensive end Dwight Freeney but he is expected to play in Sunday's match-up after fully participating in practice on Thursday. The Colts are 11-0 straight up in NFL odds, 7-4 against the spread as a favorite and 6-4 when playing in December. NFL predictions have the Colts -7 as home favorites against Indianapolis.

Franklin's NFL Picks: I might be the biggest gambling sucker but if you've already won the AFC South and getting your team ready for the playoffs, are you really going to play hard and risk injury in the last few games of the season? Although the Colts are at home and the best team in football, the Titans have something to prove and oh yea... they have Chris Johnson. My NFL prediction for this game on CBS is to take the Titans on the road plus the points in NFL odds against the Colts to the UNDER at Bodog so I can get some free casino chips! Vegas odds at the MGM Mirage sportsbook have the Indianapolis Colts -7 favorites against the Tennessee Titans with a total of 46.5.
