New Orleans and Indianapolis may be undefeated but many NFL predictions believe the best team in the league is the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are 9-1 in NFL odds and have been dominant on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Brett Favre is having an MVP year while running back Adrian Peterson is still the best running back in the league. Minnesota’s defense is very good again and the Vikings look like a Super Bowl team. Minnesota is a 10.5-point favorite in NFL predictions with a total of 47 as they host the Chicago Bears on Sunday at 4:15pm EST in a game that can be seen on FOX. Favre has 21 TD passes this season and only three interceptions. "There's nothing he can do to surprise anybody anymore," Minnesota center John Sullivan said. "He's a great player. We know that as long as we protect him, him and the receivers and Adrian (Peterson), they're all going to make plays." Last week in the 35-9 win over Seattle as 11-point favorites in NFL odds, Favre completed a career-high 88% of his passes for 213 yards and four touchdowns. "Getting back to that confidence that I had when I didn't know any better, that was pretty good," Favre said. "And I'm feeling more confident. I'm more of a realist at this age, but that doesn't mean you can't go out there and turn it loose." Favre should get some help on Sunday from Peterson who has rushed for 554 yards and eight touchdowns in his career against the Bears. Bet the Vikings -10 as home favorites in NFL predictions over the Bears on Sunday. On the other side, the Bears have collapsed losing five of their last six games in NFL odds. Quarterback Jay Cutler looks as bad as previous Chicago quarterbacks and the Bears have no solutions. Cutler leads the league with 18 interceptions. "I haven't played up to my expectations," Cutler said. "I think that's the most important part. I can play better. I know that." It hasn’t helped Cutler that he has no help. The Bears have poor wide receivers and their running game ranks 28th in the league. Chicago does not have good betting trends when looking at NFL predictions for this game. The Bears are 1-4 in NFL odds for their last 5 games in November. The Bears are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. the NFC North. The Bears are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Bears are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Minnesota. The Vikings are 4-0-1 in their last 5 games in November. The Vikings are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 vs. the NFC North. The only concern for those backing the Vikings in NFL betting is that they are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. The Under is 10-4 in the Bears last 14 road games. The Over is 3-1-1 in the last 5 meetings in Minnesota between the two teams. NFL predictions have the Bears +8 as road underdogs in NFL odds against Brett Favre and the Vikings. Whitmore's NFL Picks: Can anyone stop the old man and the beast that is Adrian Peterson? Maybe... but it won't be today and it definitely won't be by the Bears. My NFL prediction for this Sunday afternoon football game will be to take the Vikings at home laying the points against the Bears at BetUS sportsbook so I can get some free casino chips! Vegas odds at the Hilton sportsbook have the Minnesota Vikings 10-point favorites in betting odds for against the Chicago Bears with a total of 47.BetUS sportsbook has the Vikings -10 favorites in NFL odds against the Bears with a betting total of 47.
