The Dallas Cowboys are 7-3 and leading the NFC East but not all is well in Big D heading into their Thanksgiving Day NFL football betting game against the Oakland Raiders. The Cowboys have scored only 14-points in their last two games and were fortunate to win last week 7-6 over the Washington Redskins. They should be able to score against the Raiders though and NFL odds makers seem to agree as the Cowboys are 14-point favorites in NFL football betting with a total of 40 in this Thanksgiving Day afternoon game that can be seen on CBS. Dallas quarterback Tony Romo has been bothered by back problems but he is expected to play in the second Thanksgiving Day football game. The Cowboys might be without Jason Witten though, as he is questionable. "We've already talked to Tony and he says he feels a lot better. He had a little bit of stiffness. He had quite a bit during the ballgame, but says he feels a lot better," Dallas head coach Wade Phillips said. Witten leads the Cowboys with 54 catches this season so his loss would be huge. Dallas is a 14-point home favorite in NFL betting odds against Oakland for this football game on CBS. Dallas has a one-game lead over Philadelphia and New York in the NFC East. They know that to continue to win they are going to have to start scoring points. "We know we've got to start picking it up. Not just for our fans, but for ourselves too," wide receiver Patrick Crayton said. "It's going to be good for us to come out Thursday and be sharp and be crisp. It's got to look like we are really doing something out there." Romo and the Cowboys have played well in on Thanksgiving Day NFL football in the past. Romo is 3-0 on Thanksgiving and has 10 TDs and only two interceptions in those games. Romo will be facing former teammate Greg Ellis who is with the Raiders. Ellis leads the Raiders with five sacks this NFL betting season. Bet Oakland +14 as road underdogs in NFL football odds against Dallas. The Raiders are coming into this Thanksgiving Day game with some momentum in NFL betting odds. New starting quarterback Bruce Gradkowski led the team to a 20-17 upset in NFL odds over Cincinnati a week ago. He threw the game tying TD to Louis Murphy with just second remaining and then the Raiders got a gift when Cincinnati fumbled the kickoff which set up the game winning field goal. "I don't know that you can ask for a better closing drive than what he did there," coach Tom Cable said. The 20 points that the Raiders put up last week were the most they have scored this season in NFL odds. "I think they got a lot of momentum after winning last weekend," Dallas cornerback Terence Newman said. "I think they're going to come in and give us a good test." Oakland has actually won six of the nine all-time meetings against the Cowboys. Bergen's NFL Picks: I am going to be the laughing stock of the sports betting community with my pick for this game. Everyone is jumping all over the Cowboys but they haven't impressed me this year and the Raiders are coming off a big win against the Bengals last week.
