NFL Betting Lines and Picks - New York Giants at Denver Broncos

Giants at Broncos - 8:20pm EST

The New York Giants and Denver Broncos are both 6-4 but the vibe surrounding each team is much different heading into this Thanksgiving Day game in NFL betting lines. The Giants are just a game back of Dallas in the NFC East while the Broncos are a game back of San Diego in the AFC West. New York though is considered a serious threat to the Cowboys while the Broncos proved last week they are no threat to the Chargers. These two teams meet in prime time on Thanksgiving night in game that can be seen on the NFL Network. New York is a 6.5 point favorite in NFL lines with a total of 42 at online sportsbooks.

Denver started the season 6-0 but they have lost their last four games in NFL betting lines and rarely have the games been close. They were blown off the field last week in a 32-3 loss to San Diego as 6-point underdogs in NFL picks. They have been outscored 117-37 in their last four losses and they haven’t even scored an offensive TD in their last two home games. "I think the good thing is for a team in our situation, coming off a tough division game, is obviously we didn't play nearly the way we wanted to and on a four-game losing streak, we are eager to get back on the field and play again," head coach Josh McDaniels said. "This might be a good time for our team." The Giants started 5-0 this season before losing four straight.

They bounced back last week though to win in overtime against Atlanta as 7-point favorites in NFL picks. Although the Giants won the game against Atlanta they still had problems. They allowed 24 points in the second half against Atlanta. "I think we have done very well in certain situations, but we haven't played as well as I think we can," defensive end Osi Umenyiora said. The Giants are 8-2 ATS in NFL betting lines for their last 10 games as a road favorite. The Giants are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Broncos are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 home games. The Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Over is 3-1-1 in the Giants last 5 road games. The Under is 10-1 in the Broncos last 11 home games. The Under is 5-2 in the Broncos last 7 games in November.

Bower's NFL Picks: The Broncos looked like the team to beat in the West there for a while but have turned that completely around and now look like the team that anyone can beat heading into this Thanksgiving Day football game. Even though the Giants are 0-5 against the spread for their last 5 games, I just can't see the Broncos covering a touchdown anymore even if they are at home. My NFL pick for this match-up in week 12 will be to take the Giants on the road laying the points to the UNDER. Vegas odds at Caesars sportsbook have the New York Giants -6.5 favorites against the Denver Broncos with a total of 42 for this Thanksgiving Day match-up.
