Champions League odds favor AC Milan over Marseille on Wednesday.

AC Milan will look to advance to the knockout stage in Champions League odds on Wednesday as they host Marseille. With an attacking style of play led by Ronaldinho, Marco Borriello and Alexandre Pato there is a very good chance Milan will be able to win on Wednesday. AC Milan is a half goal favorite in soccer odds at online sportsbooks with a total of 2.5. The three-way football betting line has AC Milan -110, Marseille +310 and the Draw +225.

Milan is tied at the top of Group C in Champions League odds with Real Madrid with seven points while Marseille is in third with six. "We have to do it," Milan defender Thiago Silva said. "Qualification would help us in the league. It won't be easy, though. Marseille is dangerous in attack." Marseille is seventh in the league standings and overall has had a poor season but they are coming off a 1-0 win against rival Paris Saint-Germain so they do have some momentum.

AC Milan is coming off a 4-3 win over Cagliari in Serie A action over the weekend as Alexandre Pato and Ronaldinho scored again. AC Milan is unbeaten in their last nine matches in all competitions with six wins and three draws. Marseille can’t advance even if they win this soccer betting match on Wednesday but if they lose their chances would take a huge hit. To qualify they really have to win against Milan and then beat Real Madrid in their finale. The one advantage Marseille seems to have in terms of Champions League odds is rest. They played on Friday while Milan played on Sunday. Gabriel Heinze scored the winner in Friday's game.

Milan will be without Marco Borriello for this match after he injured his knee in training. Mathieu Flamini and Gennaro Gattuso are also out as is Marek Jankulovski. Milan could be going with Marco Storari in goal in this game. Marseille expects to have Lucho Gonzalez in the starting lineup as he returned last week as a late sub against PSG. Expected to miss this soccer odds match are Stephane Mbia who has an ankle injury and Julien Rodriguez. The players to watch in soccer betting are Milan’s Ronaldinho who is red hot of late and Marseille’s Brandao who has five goals this season.
