It just seems like Full Tilt can’t stop giving away the money. Since 2006, Full Tilt has been sponsoring the FTOPS online poker tournament series and with what started with a prize pool of $1,000,000 has now grown to over $16 million that was given away in FTOPS XIII last August. During the month of November, Full Tilt poker will offer 25 online poker tournaments with $16,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools each hosted by a FTP pro. That’s right… this is your chance to not only play poker for millions in guaranteed money but also play against such pros as Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Gus Hansen, John Juanda and Patrik Antonius just to name a few. FTP will also be offering up to 5% of the possible $8.5 million that November Nine member Phil Ivey could win at the 2009 WSOP* in the “Piece of Ivey” promotion.

The FTOPS XIV online poker series will consist of knockout, shootout and turbo tournaments. There will be a two-day event similar to the one hosted at FTOPS V with a guaranteed prize pool of $2,000,000. The tournament will be hosted online Saturday, November 14th at 2:00pm EST. The first two-day event paid the winner $400,000 in prize money but since then, the winner of the two-day event has been awarded over $500,000. The buy-in will be $2,500 + $120 with $300 and $500 satellites running for the event. Huck Seed and Amanda Baker are already registered with many more pros expected for the special two-day event. Today’s tournaments feature; FTOPS XIV event #8 with poker pro Maxi Müller at 2:00pm EST with a guaranteed prize pool of $800,000, event #9 with poker pro Scott Fischman at 4:00pm EST ($500,000) and event #10 with poker pro Phil Gordon at 6:00pm EST ($1,500,000).

The tournament series will gather up points from all players in all events and be listing them on the FTOPS XIV leaderboard. The player that finishes first on the leaderboard will receive a custom avatar and entry to every FTOPS XV event for the next series except the two-day tournament. Full Tilt will also be giving away gear for players who make it to any of the final tables during the FTOPS XIV series. All players at the final tables receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket while any winner of an FTOPS XIV event receives prize money, plus a gold FTOP jersey and gold FTOPS avatar to be used when playing on Full Tilt poker. For all players that don’t make the final table but finish on the bubble (last player before the money), Full Tilt will be hosting the “Bouncebackability Freeroll” where the winner will be awarded a seat at the FTOPS XV main event.

In addition to the FTOPS XIV series, Full Tilt is offering all players the chance to win a “Piece of Ivey”. We congratulate Mr. Ivey on becoming one of this year’s November nine and now we want our piece! Full Tilt poker will be giving away a whopping 5% of his possible $8,500,000 in prize money just for playing in special nine-player sit & go’s. FTP is also offering a 1% piece of Ivey in an exclusive freeroll with $50,000 in prize monies.
