Ramon Dominguez is expected to get the mount in the Breeders Cup Classic aboard Gio Ponti.

Gio Ponti was very impressive in the Arlington Million winning that race by more than 11 lengths. Gio Ponti is getting some respect in Breeders Cup odds as he is listed at +1400. Other possible longshot horse to pair him with would be Quality Road +1200, Mine That Bird +1800, Richard’s Kid +1800, Colonel John +2000 and Einstein +2000. The favorite in Breeders Cup predictions is the unbeaten filly Zenyatta who is +300. She is followed by European star Rip Van Winkle at +200 and Belmont Stakes winner Summer Bird at +450.
