During our 2009 WSOP "November Nine" review, we have filled six of the nine seats at the final table with Phil Ivey, Joe Cada, Kevin Schaffel, Jeff Shulman, Darvin Moon and Eric Buchman. In this edition, we will focus on Steven Begleiter from New York and Antoine Saout of France. Starting the final table with 29,885,000 in chips, the 47 year old former head of corporate strategy for Bear Sterns has found a new life in poker reaching the November nine. Begleiter was not known around the Vegas poker circle until the 2009 World Series of Poker which of course now everyone knows his name but in the Newcastle Poker Tour and league, he has been a celebrity for some time making a name for himself when he won his seat to the 2009 main event. The rail exploded in support from league members every time Begleiter won a hand during his run to the November nine and for good reason; Steven plans to chop his winnings 20% with all of his league members. He has already made the guaranteed million dollar minimum payout so expect a lot of cheering for Begleiter during the final table of the 2009 main event. "I've already won. It's insane I made the final table. I'm not quite sure how I did it. My objective is to play well - so far I've played well," Begleiter after making the final table. Did you know you can wager on the winner of the main event? Bet Steven Begleiter 11-2 at online sportsbooks to be the final player left of the November nine in 2009 World Series odds. One of the two only foreign players that have reached the final table of the 2009 World Series of Poker, Antoine Saout from France will be seated with 9,500,000 in chips as he makes his run for poker history. The 25-year old Saout began playing poker about two years ago and has gained popularity in the poker world as “Tonio292” playing at various online poker sites where he is best known as a dominant force in MTT tournaments and from winning his seat to this year’s main event through an online qualifier. Even though he is short-stacked compared to the other November nine players, don’t count him out of winning just because he is primarily an online poker player; Antoine also has a seventh place finish to his name at the 2009 World Series of Poker Europe £ 10,000 main event. At such a young age, you can call Saout somewhat a seasoned veteran especially on his way to the November nine in this year’s World Series. For the last three days of the tournament, Saout has been seated next to one of the games youngest seasoned veteran, Phil Ivey. Despite the aggressive challenges of Ivey, Saout has played smart poker and has impressed many with strong moves on his way to the final table. His forceful style in the 2009 World Series has made Begleiter let his hand go for over 2,000,000 in chips and also made Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari muck his hand for over a 1,000,000. With 9.5 million in chips, look for Saout to use the same aggressive nature to try and double up early when he takes his seat with the November nine. Bet on Antoine Saout 13-1 to win the 2009 World Series of Poker.
