The circus that this is the Washington Redskins gets the national spotlight on Monday night at 8:35pm EST as they host the Philadelphia Eagles in ESPN’s Monday Night Football. The Redskins took away the play calling from head coach Jim Zorn this past week and gave the duties to Sherm Lewis who was out of football just a few weeks ago. What happens with the Redskins next is anyone’s guess although it appears head coach Jim Zorn’s job is safe. Philadelphia is a 7.5-point favorite with a total of 37 in NFL picks at online sportsbooks. Washington has scored 17-points or less in NFL odds for every game this season. They have the 29th ranked offense in the league. Part of the problem has been quarterback Jason Campbell but he is getting the start again this week. The Redskins have just two offensive threats in running back Clinton Portis and tight end Chris Cooley. Bet the Redskins +7.5 in week 7 NFL picks. Philadelphia comes into Monday night's football game after last week’s shocking loss at Oakland as 14-point favorites in NFL picks. The Eagles continue to disappoint but haven’t gotten much attention heading into this week with the Washington mess. Quarterback Donovan McNabb didn’t play well last week but he was not alone. The offensive line was terrible and the defense was weak. It may not get much better considering the team placed linebacker Omar Gaither on season-ending injured reserve this week. Washington leads the all-time series 77-65-5 against the Eagles including a sweep last season.
