The Giants and Cardinals have two of the best pitching staffs in baseball and they have definitely been showing their stuff in this series. Tim Lincecum was brilliant on Monday night while Chris Carpenter and Randy Johnson matched up on Tuesday. Now it is Cain versus Wainwright on Wednesday. Cain is 9-2 on the season with a 2.57 ERA in MLB betting stats while Wainwright is 8-5 with a 3.51 ERA. It is very likely the Giants are going to have at least two All-Star starters in Lincecum and Cain. While Lincecum has been brilliant of late, Cain is having a good year as well. His latest outing was not his best though as he gave up five runs in a 5-1 loss at Milwaukee. MLB betting at SBG Global has the Cardinals -143 at home against the Giants +123 in baseball betting odds with a total of 7.5 UNDER -115. It ended a seven game winning streak for Cain. He has gone at least six innings in every start this season and has 10 quality starts in 15 outings this season. Cain will have to face two probable All-Stars in the St. Louis lineup on Wednesday. Albert Pujols leads all National League players in All-Star votes while Yadier Molina leads all catchers. Pujols is a seven-time All-Star and has been in the starting lineup five times while Molina would be making his first-ever appearance. All-Star starters will be announced next week. Wainwright has kept the Cardinals in most games this season even though he has not been dominant. He does throw a lot of pitches and that usually brings the bullpen into play when he starts. If you want to bet the Cardinals -143 in MLB betting odds against the Giants with up to a 60% deposit bonus, then visit SBG Global. Vegas MLB betting odds at the Hilton sportsbook have the Cardinals -145 favorites against the Giants +135 with a betting total of 7.5.
