UFC odds feature Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez taking on Joe “Daddy” Stevenson in the main event for UFC 95 odds on Saturday, February 21st from the O2 Arena in London. Sanchez has a record of 21-2 and is more than a 2-1 favorite in UFC 95 odds against Stevenson who comes in at 34-9. This main event should be exciting as Sanchez moves to the Lightweight division after mixed results at the Welterweight level. Stevenson however, will be looking to get his name back at the top after getting destroyed recently by Lightweight champion BJ Penn and Kenny Florian. Sanchez is a former Ultimate Fighter winner and should be popular with the fans. He has excellent wrestling and submission skills. Stevenson has similar wrestling and submission skills including talent with the guillotine choke. That hold has taken down very talented fighters like Dokonjonosuke Mishima, Gleison Tibau, and Rich Clementi in the past. The problems for Stevenson have come when he can’t get the fight to the ground as his boxing skills are weak. The good news for Stevenson is that Sanchez is nothing special as a striker either. This fight will be won on the ground. UFC 95 odds on February 21st also include Demian Maia against Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt against Wilson Gouveia and Josh Koscheck vs. Paulo Thiago.
The Marquardt – Gouveia bout should be an excellent one. Marquardt has done a lot in the UFC but he can’t seem to get by Anderson Silva but not many people can. Gouveia could be just as good as Marquardt but the UFC 95 odds show that he may not have the experience yet. Thiago is unbeaten but he has never faced anyone like Koscheck so his first loss could come in this fight. Also on the UFC 95 odds card is Dan Hardy facing Rory Markham, Terry Etim vs. Brian Cobb, Junior Dos Santos vs. Stefan Struve, Mike Ciesnolevicz vs. Neil Grove, Per Eklund vs. Evan Dunham and Paul Kelly vs. Troy Mandaloniz. Spike TV will be televising the UFC betting events live on the East Coast and tape delayed on the West Coast in the United States.
