NFC Championship Odds - Philadelphia Eagles at Arizona Cardinals Odds

Eagles at Cardinals - 3:00pm EST on FOX

The Philadelphia Eagles (11-6-1) will be making their fifth appearance in NFC Championship odds in the last eight years as they play the Arizona Cardinals (11-7) on Sunday at 3:00pm EST on FOX. Unfortunately for Philadelphia, they won only one of those previous four games. The Arizona Cardinals on the other hand are making their first ever appearance in NFC Championship odds. They are also the first-ever #4 seed to host a championship game. The Cardinals finished the regular season poorly but they have turned things around in the playoffs.

They defeated a talented Atlanta team in the Wild Card round and last week upset Carolina at home as a ten point underdog. "Not many people had very nice things to say about us and didn't give us a chance," Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "We believe in ourselves. I like being the underdog, and we're going to continue to be the underdog." Online sportsbooks have the Eagles -4 point favorites on the road in NFL playoff odds against the Cardinals with a total of 47. Philadelphia defeated Arizona earlier this season by a score of 48-20 but that game was in Philadelphia. The Eagles have played well on the road in the playoffs, defeating Minnesota in the Wild Card round and the Giants in last week’s divisional round.

"We knew we had to go out and get it done," Eagles defensive end Trent Cole said. "We have a lot of confidence. We had some tough times this year, but we were given new hope with the wild card." The key to Sunday’s game could be injuries. Philadelphia running back Brian Westbrook is playing hurt and Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin is also expected to play with his hamstring injury after sitting out last week’s win over Carolina. Westbrook had 110 yards rushing against Arizona in their first meeting but he has not looked healthy recently. He has just 74 yards in the playoffs on 38 carries. NFC Championship odds at Caesars sportsbook have the Eagles -4 point NFL playoff betting favorites over the Cardinals with a betting total of 47.5 in NFL playoff odds.
