Ravens at Titans - 4:30pm EST on CBS

A low scoring slugfest is expected on Saturday when the Tennessee Titans (13-3) host the Baltimore Ravens (12-5) in NFL playoff odds at 4:30pm EST on CBS in AFC Divisional playoff action. The teams have played 17 times since 1996 and the Titans hold a 9-8 edge in the series. In the 17 previous games, the Ravens averaged 19 points per game while the Titans averaged 17 points per game. In their Week 5 meeting earlier this season the Titans won 13-10. In their first meeting both quarterbacks threw two interceptions. Each team was only able to turn those turnovers into a total of three points though.

NFL Playoff bookmakers have the Titans -3 point favorites at home in NFL playoff odds against the Ravens with a total of 48.5. The Titans are going to try and run the ball even though Baltimore normally doesn’t give up many rushing yards. Chris Johnson had only 18 carries for 44 yards in the earlier meeting. The Titans are also probably going to be without the services of All-Pro center Kevin Mawae who has an elbow injury. Throwing the ball will not be easy on Baltimore either as Ed Reed proved last week. He had two more interceptions against Miami, one of which he returned for a touchdown.

The Ravens have a similar offense to Tennessee. They are going to run the ball with Le’Ron McClain and take the pressure off of quarterback Joe Flacco. It may not be easy to move the ball against Tennessee considering the Titans have Kyle Vanden Bosch and Albert Haynesworth returning from injuries. Baltimore is the popular pick this week by many football experts and the Ravens have another thing in their favor as home teams in the divisional round of the playoffs the last three years are just 5-7. NFL Playoff odds at the Hilton sportsbook have the Titans -3 point NFL Playoff betting favorites over the Ravens with a betting total of 34 in NFL Playoff odds.
