![]() The Carolina Panthers (12-4) are heavily favored in NFL Playoff odds on Saturday night to dispatch of the Arizona Cardinals (10-7) in the NFC Divisional playoffs Saturday night at 8:15pm EST on FOX. The Panthers went unbeaten at home this season while the Cardinals struggled on the road, particularly in the Eastern Time zone where they went 0-5. The Panthers won their eight home games by an average of 15.4 points per game while the Cardinals are now 2-20 in their last 22 games in the Eastern Time zone. Arizona and Carolina played earlier this season in Carolina and the Panthers came away with a 27-23 victory. Arizona actually led that game 17-3 before collapsing. Quarterback Kurt Warner threw for 381 yards in that game. The Cardinals were second in the league this season with 292.1 passing yards per game. Arizona defeated Atlanta 30-24 last week in the Wild Card game. "I hope this gives us a lot of confidence," Warner said. "I knew we thought we could win this game. Hopefully we can parlay this into some more confidence and know we can win wherever we have to go." The Cardinals may have to play with wide receiver Anquan Boldin less than 100%. "Still tight," Boldin said about his injured hamstring. "I'm not sure at this point. I'm just taking it a day at a time, trying to do what I can to get it better.” NFL Playoff bookmakers have the Panthers -9.5 point favorites at home in NFL playoff odds against the Cardinals with a total of 48.5. The Panthers were able to have last week off thanks to the bye. "Guys don't feel as tired and they don't hurt as bad and there's a home game," kicker John Kasay said. Quarterback Jake Delhomme is 5-2 in the playoffs in his career and has made a definite difference this year for Carolina. "You've seen a difference between last year and this year, having him and not having him," said left tackle Jordan Gross, "He's definitely our leader and the whole team revolves around him." Delhomme gets a lot of help from a potent ground game led by the running back duo of DeAngelo Williams and rookie Jonathan Stewart. Williams was third in the league with 1,515 rushing yards and first with 18 touchdowns while Stewart had 836 yards and 10 TDs.
