Jimmie Johnson will be looking to wrap up the 2008 Sprint Cup championship on Sunday afternoon when the series hits Homestead-Miami Speedway in Ford 400 odds. Biffle is 203 points back of the leader in third place in the standings, while Burton is 269 points behind Johnson heading into the season finale. "It's been a busy week and I'm just really eager to get in the car and get into what I do and what this team is about and what we like to do, which is drive that car and make it fast," Johnson said.

"I'm really excited about Homestead, and there's no need to do anything stupid," Johnson said. "But at the same time, how cool would it be to win out? I still think we can do that. I'd love to do that." And that's what our goals are. If we get in the race, and I've got to drive at 110 percent to go for the win, there's no need to. But if we can go out there and win the race like we did [in Phoenix], let's do it." Johnson started from the pole at Homestead-Miami last Sprint Cup Chase season, but it was Matt Kenseth who ended up visiting victory lane. Greg Biffle won the three previous races on that track, while Tony Stewart won back-to-back events there in 1999 and 2000.
