Patriots at Colts - 8:20pm EST on NBC

Normally when the New England Patriots (5-2) and Indianapolis Colts (3-4) get together it is the highlight of the NFL schedule but the same cannot be said for this year. The Patriots are holding their own without injured quarterback Tom Brady but the Colts are struggling at 3-4. New England has won three of the last five regular season meetings against Indianapolis. This year they meet in Indianapolis for NFL Week 9 odds when the teams play Sunday night at 8:20pm EST on NBC.

Normally you could look at the winner of this game as the favorite in the AFC. The winner of this game has gone to the Super Bowl in four of the last five seasons. That does not look to be the case this season. The Patriots are winning without Tom Brady but it has not been easy. Odds makers have the Colts -6 point favorites at home in NFL odds against the Patriots with a total of 43.5. The Colts are having a tough time winning at all. Quarterback Peyton Manning is not having a great season. He has 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions and his passer rating is the lowest it has been since his rookie season.

Vegas odds at the Wynn sportsbook have the Colts -6 point NFL betting favorites with a total of 44. It is not all bad for the Colts though. They could get three starters back this week as running back Joseph Addai, safety Bob Sanders and cornerback Kelvin Hayden may all play on Sunday night. While the division title looks out of reach for the Colts the playoffs are definitely not. "We've got to realize that there's a lot of season left," tight end Dallas Clark said.
