On Saturday, the Soul will play the Gladiators and the Sabercats play the Rampage. The AFL playoffs are down to the two Conference Championship games. On Saturday, the top seeded Philadelphia Soul will be favored in AFL betting odds as they host the fourth seeded Cleveland Gladiators.

The second seeded San Jose Sabercats will be favored in AFL odds as they host the sixth seeded Grand Rapids Rampage. The major upset in AFL betting this past weekend was Grand Rapids knocking off top seeded Chicago.

Rampage quarterback James MacPherson set a team record with 33 completions on just 39 attempts throwing for 326 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Rampage to the upset.

Receiver Kenny Higgins caught 14 passes for 167 yards and three TD’s. The Grand Rapids defense was the difference in the game as they made stops while Chicago did not.

Grand Rapids allowed over 60 points per game in the regular season but the defense played well in the upset win in AFL betting over Chicago.

Another upset occurred in AFL betting on Monday as Cleveland topped second-seeded Georgia 73-70. Cleveland quarterback Raymond Philyaw threw eight touchdown passes in the victory. Georgia quarterback Chris Griesen also had eight touchdown passes in the loss.

There was almost a huge upset last Saturday but Philadelphia quarterback Matt D’Orazio threw a 28 yards touchdown pass to Larry Brackins on the final play of the game as the Soul beat New York 49-48. The play had to be reviewed but Brackins got the football over the goal line. New York played very well and would have pulled off the upset if not for the final play.

The Dragons were winners in AFL betting, however, as they covered the spread. The Soul are the top seed in the AFL playoffs and they finished with a 13-3 record, the best in their history. They are co-owned by rock star Jon Bon Jovi.

The other game last Saturday saw San Jose take out Colorado in AFL betting by a score of 64-51. Mark Grieb completed 25 of 34 pass attempts for 283 yards and seven touchdowns. The defending champs will be favored in AFL odds to continue their winning ways as they host Grand Rapids this Saturday.

BetUs.com has early AFL odds up for this weekends playoff games. AFL odds have the Philadelphia Soul as a -7.5 point favorite over the Cleveland Gladiators with and over / under of 115.5.
